ATP World Tour Finals

This marks the 6th consecutive year that the SES Group has supplied Close Protection and player security for the ATP Tennis Finals. We were privileged to ensure the safety of the world’s top male singles tennis players at their hotels, whilst travelling and at the venue. Ice Skating at Somerset House

Skating has returned to Somerset House for the Winter months and the SES Group are once again on hand to provide crowd management and security services. Skating is available until January 14th and the SES Group are there for the duration. MTV Trafalgar Square

On Saturday 11th November, the SES Group were commissioned to provide Security and Crowd Management to what was billed a ‘Once in a lifetime’ event in Trafalgar Square as part of MTV’s Music Week. The head line acts for the show were U2 and David Guetta. The lineup drew in a crowd of just under 7000 with some other people listening from outside. Disability Confident Committed

The SES Group are delighted to announce that we have been accredited by the Department of Work and Pensions. The accreditation provides the Organisation with Stage 1 – Disability Confident Committed. The SES Group are now considered to be a preferred Employer by Job Centre Plus. The SES Group are always looking at ways of being more disability aware and we hope to continue to raise standards both internally and externally throughout the industry.

Little Mix

The SES Group were at the O2 arena on Thursday 26th October in our role as preferred backstage security provider. This time saw a performance from the biggest girl band on the planet – Little Mix. With a capacity crowd of around 20,000, to see the Kids’ Choice Award for Favourite Global Music Star winners, this was a high profile event and the SES Group were on hand to assist with the smooth running of the event, working in collaboration with all stakeholders. Micky Flanagan

The SES Group have just finished supporting Micky Flanagan for 3 nights at London’s famed o2 arena, between 5-7 October. Micky Flanagan is one of the Britain’s biggest Comedians and, as such, was treated to 3 sell out nights. The SES Group provided a variety of backstage Crowd Management and Security Solutions in our role as a preferred supplier at the prestigious venue.

Adidas City Run

On the 8th October, thousands of runners took to the streets of Shoreditch for the inaugural 10k run. Starting and finishing in Shoreditch Park, the runners completed the adventurous course running through sites such as Hoxton Street Market and De Beauvoir Square. The SES Group were on hand across the full length of the course to provide a range of Crowd Management and Security services. The winner posted a very impressive time of 33 minutes and 11 seconds. The event ran very smoothly and you can already pre-book for next year!

The Academy is releasing the revised Career Development Pathway (CDP) today (02/10/2017). This applies to all SES employees (new recruits, stewards, security and DS).
