Chinese New Year Birmingham 2018 – Security

The SES Group provided response teams and security services for crowd management for the event. On Sunday 18th February, the City of Birmingham were out in force to celebrate the Chinese New Year, with 2018 being the ‘Year of the Dog’. With a crowd of 27,000 in attendance, 42 SES staff were on hand to provide Crowd Management and Response Teams throughout the day. Aston Villa v Birmingham Event Security at Villa Park

The SES Group provided a range of security services for one of the biggest matches of the year at Villa Park On Sunday 11th February, SES were out in numbers at Villa Park for one of the biggest games of the season. Duke & Duchess Coventry Cathedral Visit – Security

The SES Group provided security services for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s visit to Coventry Cathedral. On Tuesday 16th January, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited Coventry Cathedral in a highly publicised event, 4,000 people encompassing families and school children were keen to see the royal couple. The Duke and Duchess were visiting as part of a double celebration to congratulate Coventry on becoming the new UK City of Culture and Coventry University’s new Science and Health Building. ATP World Tour Finals

This marks the 6th consecutive year that the SES Group has supplied Close Protection and player security for the ATP Tennis Finals. We were privileged to ensure the safety of the world’s top male singles tennis players at their hotels, whilst travelling and at the venue. MTV Trafalgar Square

On Saturday 11th November, the SES Group were commissioned to provide Security and Crowd Management to what was billed a ‘Once in a lifetime’ event in Trafalgar Square as part of MTV’s Music Week. The head line acts for the show were U2 and David Guetta. The lineup drew in a crowd of just under 7000 with some other people listening from outside. Little Mix

The SES Group were at the O2 arena on Thursday 26th October in our role as preferred backstage security provider. This time saw a performance from the biggest girl band on the planet – Little Mix. With a capacity crowd of around 20,000, to see the Kids’ Choice Award for Favourite Global Music Star winners, this was a high profile event and the SES Group were on hand to assist with the smooth running of the event, working in collaboration with all stakeholders.
