Summertime Ball 2016

What a concert that was! 20 big names took to the world-famous Capital Summer Time Ball stage on the June 11th 2016 – including Tinie Tempah, Ariana Grande, Little Mix and many others in Wembley Stadium

The client was Global Radio who broadcast to over 24 million listeners every week. The SES Group provided a range of services on the day including  front of stage pit barriers operation, backstage, traffic management and dressing rooms.

The audience was a young family crowd of 75,000 for whom we had a staff of 250 for the day. It was the first time we implemented the new traffic management procedure into place with great success and set up a backstage lock down with over 20 artists and 200 working personnel.

This was our first SES Group gig in Wembley stadium in 2016 and one of the busiest weekends of the summer for us. We are pleased to report that everything went according to plan.

Since 2010 we have worked this event every year so we hope to see you again in Wembley stadium for 2017!
